some general plans:
For a right handed guitar the neck will be on the left. Here are some general steps to constructing a CGB:
1. Take the neck of the guitar and line it up with the lid of the cigar box so that you can measure the size of the notch that needs to be cut in the lid to fit the neck.
2. Cut the notch in the lid and place the neck of the guitar in it. It should fit snugly.
3. On the neck, mark where you want to put frets with a pencil, based on your scale measurements. Leave room on the end of the neck for tuning pegs.
4. Use the nails to finalize the frets drawn in pencil.
5. Mark where to drill holes in the far end of the neck for the tuning pegs.
6. Drill the pegs in.
7. Glue the neck into the cigar box.
8. Drill 2-3 holes into the end of the cigar box and into the far end of the neck.
9. Place nuts in the drilled holes and string up the strings on the guitar using the nuts.
10. Attach the bolt the elevate the strings over the guitar.
11. Decorate.
